Lecture 5 | Camera Movement

Homework description for the next class (October 16): Video assignment #2 (a one-minute continuous story.), your task is to create a short film featuring one actor(or more) moving through their environment in a scenario you develop.

The goal is to produce a dynamic situation that engages your audience and film it as a continuous shot.

While you won't be using synch dialogue, you can incorporate music, sound effects, and voice overs in post-production. You may also record ambient audio to create a background track.

Other instructions:
  • Avoid using sound or try to record clean audio.
  • Try filming with a tripod or gimbal.
  • Rehearse before shooting.
  • You can have actors(your friends, family, or professional)
